Well, hello! My name is Snickers and I'm a lovely tortie kitty who is looking to catch your eye. I'm a calm, sweet, and social girl who is always up for attention and affection. I just love having visitors stop by. Talk to me and I'll look up at you with adoring eyes. I also like pets, head rubs and rubbing against you - TLC is the best. I love to leisurely stroll around and explore my surroundings. I like to relax in my cozy bed. What's the highlight of my day? Having company spend time with me! I just so happen to be looking for a loving person to share my life with. I'm a laid-back kitty who would like nothing better than spending time with you getting lots of pets. Want to read a book? Operating the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, an open-admission facility and Alexandria’s only animal shelter, the League provides care for more than 3,500 animals every year, including strays, lost pets, local wildlife, rescue animals, and pets surrendered by their owners. Serving the community since 1946, the League has contracted with the City of Alexandria to provide animal care, control, and sheltering services since 1989. The AWLA is committed to ending animal homelessness, promoting animal welfare, and serving as an educational resource for the community.
