Callie has been through a lot, arriving at the shelter with severe bite wounds that took some time to heal. She quickly blossomed into an affectionate and fun little gal with a zest for life and enthusiasm for snuggles! She enjoyed some recovery time in a foster home, and now she can't wait to settle into her new furever home!
Here's a couple words from her foster: "-Callie is a lovebug and a couch potato. She spends most of the day napping in the sun, on soft blankets, or in my lap. She especially loves tummy and ear rubs. -She walks great on a leash and easily gets into her harness. She is also very aware of other dogs and gets excited to see small dogs but may bark at larger dogs. -When Callie gets the zoomies, she becomes a fetch aficionado. She loves her mini tennis balls and a quick game of tug-o-war with her snake toy. After a play session, she tires quickly and sleeps hard. -While she's not currently on medication, she takes it super easily from a spoonful of peanut butter or a slice of cheese. -Overall, she is a fantastic girl who simply needs love and companionship to thrive."
