My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Truffle is an estimated 6-month-old 25 lb female Rottweiler mix (DNA test of sibling shows 60% Rott) who was rescued from eastern Washington along with her littermates. We estimate she will be around 45-50 lbs when full grown. While her siblings have been adopted, Truffle is still looking for a home. She has been learning the ropes of inside dogging while in foster care including house-training and crate training. She is playful, smart and friendly with people and dogs. She will benefit from a loving family who will continue with her training and help her be the best dog she can be!

Foster Update: Truffle is a fun loving and full of life puppy. She is a quick learner who is eager to please and enjoys positive reinforcement training. She is currently working on Sit, Down, Touch and Spin. In a dog-friendly mall, she happily practiced her puppy obedience for my sister and brother in law, who she'd only met once before. She currently lives with two large dogs and a cat; she can be vocal in her playstyle and enjoys playing with your other dogs. Truffle has a big bark and isn't afraid to use it, but she responds well to redirection if asked. She is doing fantastic with house training, crate training at night, and riding in the car. She loves to be with her people, loves her toys and collecting them in her special places. She will thrive in an active home with plenty of attention and stimulation.

Adoption Info: Truffle's adoption fee is $550 which includes her spay, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: Truffle and her littermates were rescued from eastern Washington by SPDR in September 2024; as she is not a Doberman, Truffle was transferred to Dog Gone Seattle and is currently fostered and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
