Meet Princess!
This darling girl is only 6 months old and did not have the greatest start in life. She is so very sweet but a bit unsure of herself. We would love to see her with a patient family who will help her learn that life is not as scary as she thinks. She will do best in a home with another confident little dog who can show her the way.
More information from Princess' foster mom:
Princess is a little cutie who starts her day with potty time, breakfast, and play, before we go back outside to potty and then have a nap. After nap we're back outside and then we play again and cuddle followed by another nap. After nap, we go potty outside again and then have dinner and cuddle time. She is affectionate, cautious, fearful, friendly and gentle.
Play time is her current only exercise. Ms. Princess is still very unsure about the outside world and we don't want to over stimulate her by doing too much outside.
Princess loves her teething chews, peanut butter puppy treats and her crinkle duck.
Princess hasn't been around kids or cats but we suspect that as long as they're gentle and kind to her, she'd do fine. She loves her foster brother (40lb pit mix) for his cuddles, warmth, and confidence. Despite her foster brothers best play bows, Princess isn't quite sure how to play with him yet and would love a playmate of similar size (Princess is 12lb).
Princess has not had an accident in the house but is still learning to potty outside. She would need a foster who is willing and able to continue to teach her.
She is learning to love her crate and is where she is left alone for naps and rest during the day and at night. Right now, the max she's left alone is 3-4 hours but she does successfully sleep alone throughout the night.
Princess is in need of safety and confidence building so her only trip in the car was to come to her foster home where she did great. She was taking everything in and was grateful to be in her crate. Princess is a scaredy girl. She needs constant reassurance from her humans and looks to her foster brother for guidance.
At just 7 months old, Princess is a lovable pup ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl is eager to build her confidence and share endless cuddles. She's already making great strides with crate and potty training, and she needs a loving family to continue her journey. Princess adores her foster dad and brother, and she's on the lookout for a home where she can spread her joy and warmth. If you have a lap, she'll gladly make herself at home!
Princess will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $525
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
