My name is Callie!

Callie loves to play and run around. Enjoys fetching and playing with any sort of toys. Good with older kids but nervous around toddlers. Very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Adapts well to different environments. May be a bit anxious with strangers but warms up quickly. Callie is one of my mom's dogs and unfortunately we had to make the extremely tough decision. My mother has Alzheimer's and has rapidly progressed within the past year. She's now at assisted living, and in a short time Memory Care. This has been a tough decision for all of the family, we have tried every effort to keep both of her dogs with her at the assisted living facility. It has gotten too difficult for my mom to properly take care of her dogs, and is very resistant in having the care staff help her with them. I am unable to keep them at my house because I have a toddler who can be too rough with small dogs.
