My name is Coco!

Coco is a sweet boy who loves playing fetch, going on long walks, running in fields, and cuddling on the couch in the evenings. He is a loving “people dog”, but is not good with other dogs and requires a gradual introduction to new doggie friends. We recently welcomed a new child to our home, and managing his anxiety and reactivity together with our toddler’s curiosity is proving to be too much for us. We are envisioning an ideal home for Coco that includes space to run, and a family with either no kids or older kids who understand his boundaries. He loves hiking (giving space and treat distractions for oncoming dogs) and especially being outside. Coco is a sweet dog, and an ideal companion for active adults who are able to manage his anxiety.


Note that his “special medical needs” consists of weekly teeth brushing and a maintenance antibiotic dose, as he has an allergy to his own dental plaque, causing inflamed gums/sores if untreated.
