My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TWO for ONE adoption fee forQuinn and her sister Gabby.($300).

Quinn is 14 weeks old and already quite proficient in giving nose kisses! This little girl is full of enthusiasm for life and is a very happy go lucky sweetheart! Very playful and can entertain herself with her fuzzy balls and kitty mice for hours. Super affectionate snugglebug! Loves to be held and perch on your shoulder. Great with other kitties, children and has dog exposure too. This girl just loves life and is happy with even the simplest things to entertain herself.

All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate.

More about this shelter

Pet Tails Rescue was founded by Maureen Cahill in March 2012. We are a a group of volunteers committed to the rescue of dogs in southern states who are located in high kill shelters. The numbers are staggering. One of the shelters that we save our pups from in Atlanta had over a 60% euthanasia rate – over 3800 pups who were never given a chance at life. This is why we have committed to saving these pups and finding them loving homes.
Pet Tails Rescue is a 501c non-profit corporation. We locate and screen adoptive and foster homes for these pups, arrange for all pups to be vetted and arrange transportation to the new adoptive or foster homes. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at life…every dog has a tale to tell and a story to be told. Our goal is to have their stories unfold in the loving home of their new family. If a story is not told it is forgotten. And no life should ever be forgotten.
Pet Tails Rescue has a facility located in Northwood, NH. Most all of our adoptive homes have been found through social media and with just a photo or two of the pup in need. Just one photo and someone says “that’s my dog, please bring him home to me”. We believe every animal deserves an opportunity to a happy life.

From April 2012 through December, 2020 we have rescued over 5,000 dogs and cats.
