Poncho’s friendly and malleable nature makes him an ideal companion for everyone—children, adults, seniors, big dogs, small dogs, and even cats. He’s slightly quiet but loves to play and snuggle.
Poncho starts his day working on potty training, followed by a healthy breakfast of Purina One puppy food. Afterward, he enjoys playtime with his brother. Poncho has a high energy level and adores his toys, making playtime his favorite part of the day. As evening rolls in, Poncho prepares for bed, though he prefers the warmth and comfort of sleeping with his human rather than alone.
He needs a forever home with someone who has patience and an understanding of puppy training. His friendly disposition means he gets along with everyone and will quickly become a beloved member of any family.

Pancho is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/15/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am - noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
