My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: March 2024

Jerry was trapped as part of a TNR project in a local colony. He was returned after neuter and turned up a few weeks later with a significant injury to his rear paw. Jerry had actually been stuck in an inhumane trap and had to undergo a toe amputation. While healing, it was learned that Jerry was actually quite friendly. He is now happily living in his foster home and ready to start his search for his forever family.

Jerry is quite playful and affectionate. He LOVES playing with the cat wand, kicking his little soccer ball around, and racing around with his feline friends. He has done quite well acclimating to a house of many other cats but does seem to prefer the younger ones. His best friend is Mabel, whom he would love to be adopted with if possible. They bonded pretty tightly in their foster home.

Jerry shows his timid side when you meet him at first, but he is actually quite a friendly and affectionate guy that just needs someone to give him a chance to show that.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
