This beautiful 4 yr. old Chihuahua mix girl is so perfect and just wants a lap she can be cuddled on. She’s housetrained or will use a pad if needed. Helena uses the doggy door and is very independent. If you’re wanting a Velcro dog this is your baby. She minds well and just wants to please you. Helena is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, rabies, and up to date on vaccines. She gets along with other dogs; we are unsure of cats. Kids over 8 if respectful, but never has been around them. This sweet girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and is just an all-around sweetest soul weighing in about 15 lbs. Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.
When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
