My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A-23181 Mario is an approximately 9-year-old, neutered male Domestic Long Hair cat. He was surrendered to the shelter on 10/26/24 because his owner could no longer care for him.
Though shy at first, Mario is a friendly, chill cat who is easily picked up and handled. Once he gets to know you, he'll approach when you open his kennel door. In the playroom, he finds a safe cubby to cozy up in.
Mario has hyperthyroidism, a common ailment of older cats. He is stable on his current medication and cleared for adoptions by our veterinarian. He will need lifelong medication and regular vet checks to monitor his status. Mario is a purrfect feline companion looking forward to many pampered golden years!
