Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey is a 12 pound poodle and most likely schnauzer mix. He is a non shedding dog that will need regular brushing and hair cuts to keep his coat looking great. He came into a central valley shelter as a stray and was so matted that all we could do was shave him down so he could start fresh in a home that is willing and able to care for his coat. He was very tolerant of the grooming. He will be even cuter when his fur grows out. He is very friendly and affectionate. He loves toys and other dogs. We don't have a cat, but I think he would do well with some training. He gets along well with the adults in the home and the visiting eight year old grandchild. He is being crate trained and we recommend continuing that to become fully house broken. He's doing very well so far. He walks ok on a leash and will be a good walking companion.
If you think you are up for the commitment of training this adorable dog please submit an application for adoption. He is ready to to go to a new home now. Please note, if you don't receive a return call within a few days, assume Joey has found his forever home.
