What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Kitty Girl. She is about 8-9 years old and has been with us since February of 2018 when we found her living outside in Austin, TX. I am an animal lover who never thought I would re-home a pet, but with two small children it has become too risky to continue living together. I’ve tried to keep them separate but it’s just not possible to do it 100% and inevitably one of them gets scratched. She really needs a home with no children or dogs and a person who can spend a good amount of time with her. She really loves attention, but doesn’t like being picked up. She is slow to warm up, but once she does she is sweet (with adults and older kids). I really want to find the right fit for her rather than surrendering her to Seattle Humane and her being in a stressful environment. If you or someone you know would be interested, please reach out to set up a meet and greet.
A little bit about her:
- She doesn’t climb on counters or appliances…
