This is Little Bit - a beautiful young kitty looking for a forever home.
Sadly, her previous owner became homeless, and was unable to care for her anymore. She is around a year old, and is still learning how to be a cat. She was not socialized around other cats, and although she is making progress, she is still learning. She does seem to like dogs, or at least is used to them, as she had 3 doggie siblings. Maybe that is why she is always so interested in the dog food! 😂
She is still very much a kitten - playful, energetic, curious, mischievous…
Besides learning to interact with other cats nicely, she is still learning some people skills also. She likes attention, but on her terms, and is easily spooked by unfamiliar things. She can be bribed with Churu treats, and will become a great companion with some time and patience. Her favorite spot is a perch up high where she can feel safe and see everything that is going on.
She should be in a home with someone who is experienced with cats and is willing to give her the love and time necessary to feel comfortable. Older kids only, and a home without other cats to start (she is particular about who she likes). Cat friendly dogs would be ideal.
She is getting close to her one year birthday, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is FeLV/FIV negative.
If you would love to give this beauty the chance to shine, please fill out an adoption application at www.valleydogs.org.
She is looking for a kingdom where she can be the queen!

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
