My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Gibson and I am so happy to be here at the shelter. I was "trapped" in a storm drain behind some houses and I couldn't get out! YIKES!! Anyway a kind homeowner saw my predicament and gave me a helping hand. He kept me for a few days while he searched for my owners. He never found anyone that knew me, so he brought me to the shelter in hopes that my owner would find me. No one ever came and now I am up for adoption. I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. As you can see in my picture, I am a really cute fella' and I know I could be the perfect new family member for your "fam!"

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
