My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This senior gentleman is 15 year old spaniel mix O'l Roy! Roy is a gentle boy with a calm demeanor. He came to the shelter as a neglected stray, and we are hoping to find him a home where he can live out his golden years. We're looking for someone who is home more often than not, as Roy seems to have some separation anxiety. He has already bonded quickly with some of our staff members and we're sure he will settle in just as fast at home. He loves going for his little walks and will need someone who can help him shed some weight, as he is a little too chunky for his own good. We think Roy would be ok with older kids who can be respectful of a senior dog, and he should be fine with other easy-going dogs at home too. If you're looking to improve the life of a very deserving dog, come by the shelter soon and ask to meet Ol' Roy!
