My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gravy, an intelligent and utterly adorable puppy ready to steal your heart! With her stunning good looks, fluffy coat, and joyful spirit, Gravy is the total package. She’s an energetic little explorer who loves chasing toys, discovering new things, and keeping the fun going all day long.

Gravy isn’t just playful—she’s also eager to learn! This clever girl thrives on positive reinforcement training and is ready to show off her smarts. With patience, consistency, and plenty of tasty treats, you can help guide Gravy into becoming the best dog she can be.

After a day of play and learning, Gravy transforms into a world-class snuggler, happily curling up for some cozy cuddle time. She’s a perfect balance of energy and affection, making her an ideal addition to the right home.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bring warmth, laughter, and loyalty into your life, Gravy is your perfect match. Give her a forever home, and she’ll repay you with endless love, cuddles, and all the joy of a well-trained, happy pup. Your journey together starts here!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
