Hello, I'm Arrow. Life in the shelter is comfortable, but I dream of a home where I can share my sweetness and gentleness. I'm known for my calm demeanor. I enjoy lazy afternoons, lounging in the sun, and a good cuddle. I'm not one for wild adventures, but I do love a good play session. I'm a good listener too, always there to lend a sympathetic ear. Adopting me would mean gaining a loyal, loving companion who will bring a touch of sweetness to your everyday life.

The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
