ADOPTION PROCESS: If more than one person is here for the same dog at the time the dog becomes available, a drawing will be held to decide the adopter. At the time of the drawing, we will draw a second ticket, in case it would not work out with the first person. If the dog is not adopted directly at the time it becomes available, then the first person here would be able to adopt the dog.
HOURS: Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Dog viewing hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for the citizens of Sandusky County through fair, efficient, and prompt enforcement of animal control laws.
We also pledge to care for the animals in our kennel with compassion, do our best to return lost dogs to their rightful owners, and find homes for those that have become homeless through no fault of their own.
