Meet Astro: Your Out-of-This-World Tuxedo Companion
Born on June 19th, 2024, Astro is ready to find his perfect match—a human who’s just as special as he is! This handsome tuxedo is more than just a cutie; he’s a friendly, cuddly, and affectionate little guy who’s mastered the art of napping. When he’s not curled up for a snooze, he’s happily hanging out with other cats or soaking up love from his humans.
Astro’s laid-back and friendly nature makes him an ideal companion, whether you’re looking for a playmate or a snuggle buddy. If you’re searching for a kitty who’s out of this world, Astro is ready to steal your heart.
Astro is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
