My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny is a lively, talkative, and friendly kitten who’s ready to brighten his forever home! This social butterfly loves everyone—whether it's people, other cats, or dogs, Benny fits right in and makes friends fast.

He’s playful and curious, always on the move, and loves to chase toys, wrestle with his furry companions, or perch nearby to keep an eye on what’s happening. Benny is like a shadow—wherever you go, he’ll be right behind you, eager to be part of the action (or just nap nearby). His sweet meows and playful pounces will keep you smiling all day.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate buddy who will follow you wherever life takes you, Benny is your perfect match!

Benny's date of birth is 3/23/2024.

Adoption fee is $150, which includes spay/neuter, current on vaccines, microchip, dewormed and free vet visit to be used within 5 days of adoption.

Our adoption center is open Saturdays from 11 to 4 and Sundays from 12 to 4. We are located inside the West Valley Mall in Tracy, 3200 Naglee Road in suite 452. We are a foster-based rescue so not ALL available cats and kittens will attend every weekend.

Our Vision

To rescue and nurture companion animals with the mission of finding them safe and happy adoptive homes. To create community awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering to avoid overpopulation and reduce the community euthanasia rate.

A Brief History

Animal Rescue of Tracy was founded in 1994 to meet an increasing need for compassionate care for abandoned or mistreated pets. In 2002, Animal Rescue of Tracy became a full-fledged, independent, non-profit rescue. In our existence we have rescued, spayed/neutered, and found homes for more than 5,000 cats and dogs. We rescue animals from the local shelter and work with the public in select abandonment situations.
