Palum is a 10-month-old girl with a playful spirit and a heart full of curiosity. Taken in as a stray alongside her sister, Porom, Palum has blossomed into an affectionate and fun-loving companion in her foster home. She loves spending her days exploring new toys, chasing after feather wands, and engaging in playtime with her foster parents—it’s her favorite way to bond and burn off some of her kitten energy!
Palum is not just about play, though. She's an easygoing and adaptable cat who can settle into a variety of environments with ease. Whether it's a quiet household or one that’s a bit more lively, Palum will adjust and find her own cozy spot to relax when playtime is over. She’s independent enough to entertain herself but also loves interacting with people, making her a great balance of fun and affection.
Her curious nature keeps her engaged and always looking for her next adventure, but don’t be surprised if she sneaks in some cuddle time after a good round of play. Palum is as sweet as she is curious, and she’ll undoubtedly charm you with her playful antics and loving personality.
If you’re looking for a spirited and adaptable kitty who will bring endless fun and affection into your home, Palum is ready to meet you and make your life brighter!
Palum is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
