Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I’m a sweet tortie girl who’s looking for my forever home. I had a loving family for 4 years, but they had to make a tough decision to return me to my foster mom because of their own health struggles. They loved me so much, but they wanted me to have the best life possible.
I’m 4 years old and packed with personality! My foster mom says I’m quite the “Chatty Cathy”—I love to talk, especially when I’m feeling playful or want attention. I’ve got lots of catnip energy and love to wiggle and worm around when I’m happy. I’m a perfect mix of independent and social, so I’ll definitely let you know when I want some quality time with you.
I can be a little nervous with loud commotion and new experiences, but I’d like to think I’m quick to adapt! My purr motor? It’s strong, and my foster mom says I’m quite the silly girl.
You can usually find me perched high up on my cat tree or on a window ledge, but when I’m ready to chill, I love climbing into laps for snuggles and a little conversation. I can’t get enough of catnip, tunnels, and wand toys (even though I don’t need them to have fun!). When it’s bedtime, I’ll be right by your side—or even on your chest!
I used to live with other cats, but I always preferred my humans! I think I’d be happiest as your one and only, where I can soak up all the attention just for myself.
Can’t wait to meet you!

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
