Nestle' is a cute 5-month old male American Pit Bull Terrier mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on October 29, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Florence Street in Belpre Ohio. Nestle' was accompanied by Crunch (who is surely his brother). Neither of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Nestle' and Crunch are nearly identical twins except for the markings on their faces.
Nestle' has a black-and-white short smooth coat, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable (rather mischievous-looking) face. Nestle' has a beautiful black face with a narrow white stripe on his forehead and a dusting of white on his muzzle.
Nestle' and Crunch were full of playful puppy energy, and they had a lot to talk about during their photo sessions. Perhaps they were trying to tell us where they lived and what their 'parents' names were..
Thanks to HSOV Executive Director Amy Rogers and HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn for accompanying Nestle' and Crunch for outdoor pictures around noon on October 30th. These little guys were very happy (and very active), and there was "no way" they would consent to posing for boring still-life photos.
Nestle' and Crunch enjoy life to the fullest. They are very bonded with each other and have been kept together in our shelter.
Nestle' weighs 34 lbs. He doesn't appear to have been accustomed to walking on a leash, but he is a smart little boy who will quickly master that new skill.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Nestle' and Crunch will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.
