My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The handsomest little boy to ever handsome is ready to find a home of his own! Named "Hyde" due to entering the rescue with another kitten named "Formelda", this little man is the furthest thing from his namesake. Formelda and him came into rescue from local animal control as young kittens.

This little man is just as playful and all over the place as any other kitten. However, when he burns enough calories obsessing over a wadded up Kleenex, he is a big baby. Literally, this guy loves to be cradled in one's arms and his chest and tummy rubbed. Sometimes it's a trick if he's still hyper, but mostly he starts purring while gazing into your eyes. He's never too far away from people no matter what.

Hyde used to have some fearful tendencies, and he still has some with new situations, but he's learned to be brave over his time in foster. He leads all the other kittens into new places and doesn't skedaddle now when the dog comes to greet him excitedly. The only thing he fears a little now are q-tips (for ear cleaning).

If I (his foster) could have another cat, I would certainly commandeer this little man. His face hasn't changed since he was little, I hope it stays all cute and round. He just seems to observe his surroundings, muster up some little man courage, and fit seamlessly into the family. He thinks the older cats are pretty cool role models too and it's just the cutest.

Go meet their pets

Once your application has been approved, we will disclose the private address of the Foster who has the animal you're interested in. Our hours are based on our founder's availability, but it truly depends on the foster's schedule. Our fosters are all located in northwestern Wisconsin, and Shelli can be present if requested or she is available if the foster isn't herself.
