My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Henrietta was picked up as a stray, and it’s surprising no one was looking for her. At around 9 years old, she brings a wealth of wisdom and gentle charm to our rescue. This calm and easygoing girl enjoys relaxed playtime and the company of other mellow dogs. Henrietta thrives in a peaceful environment, where she can feel secure and loved.

She truly shines around people and bonds quickly, especially when treats are involved. Henrietta’s affectionate nature makes her an excellent companion for those who appreciate a quiet, loving presence in their lives. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or enjoying a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, she is happy just being by your side.

To help her feel her best, Henrietta would benefit from a home that can provide gentle daily exercise and a balanced diet. While she carries a bit of extra weight, with a little encouragement and the right care, she can regain her ideal shape. She’ll thrive in a loving environment that prioritizes her health and happiness.

A family with senior dog experience would be an excellent match to support her in enjoying her golden years. Henrietta has so much love to give and is excited to find her forever home, where she can bring joy and companionship for many years to come. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal friend to share your life with, please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
