Izita is such a sweetheart. She is unsure of how new people will treat her, but is so very gentle. Once she warms up, she loves having a child to run with or snuggling up with a person and getting lots of pets and love. She likely was not treated very well in her short life, so we want to make sure she knows nothing but love and kindness with her new family!

Someone from our shelter talks to any potential adopters and discusses the dog they are interested in adopting as well as their family and living situation. If we feel it would be a good match, we approve their application and move forward with the adoption process.

We are a small rescue located in the country outside of Winner, SD. We have a limited number of dogs in our care at any given time, which allows us to work with each of them individually in order to get a good feel for their personality and the kind of family/living situation they would thrive in.
