My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gia may just be the cuddliest cat ever! She's a chatty girl who loves nothing more than being pet while sitting next to or on a human. Gia isn't shy about letting you know when she wants affection and would do best in a home where she can get lots of love all the time. She can be an only cat or may do well with a younger animal who can match her energy and level of playfulness.

Gia was found on the side of the road with a broken jaw and hind limb paralysis, but she never let this get her down! After a successful surgery and healing time, she has regained her ability to walk and eat and needs no special care. Even after all she went through, Gia is the sweetest cat and would be the perfect addition to any home.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
