My story

BABY GIRL came to us when a severe medical condition of a new baby forced her family to tearfully give her up. She was the lap cat of the grandmother in the family and would prefer a quiet home.

From her foster mom: Baby Girlis a shy but sweet cat who loves treats, ear scratches, and birdwatching. She has been a very polite guest in her foster home! She uses the litterbox, scratches on the appropriate surfaces, and is mellow and low-maintenance. Babygirl would do best in a quiet home with no dogs or small children.

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
