Meet Basil!

A sweet 2 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix. Recently surrendered by a breeder, Basil is still adjusting to life in a loving home and can be a little shy and skittish at first. However, with patience, gentle care, and plenty of affection, Basil is blossoming and showing his loving side more every day. He adores cuddling and wants nothing more than to stay close to his person.

Basil gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is also friendly with cats. He’s crate trained and is almost fully potty trained, as long as he can go outside regularly. Until he settles into a new home and routine, a belly band can help with any minor accidents. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little extra love and patience, Basil is ready to be your devoted friend.

The Saving Hope Animal Rescue strives to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, and abused domestic animals. We are located in Fort Worth, but reach out to other communities in the DFW area.
