My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max! He is a young and energetic Pomeranian-Poodle mix around 2 yrs old. He loves his dog and humans friends, especially if they want to play. He would do well in a home that has the same high energy as him, although he will sit and snuggle on the couch after a long day. He has never met a cat so we aren't sure how he would do with them. He would most likely be fine with kids, although he hasn't really spent time with them either. He does great in the car, is crate trained and potty trained. He is okay with walks but will need some more work on the leash. He would do best with a fenced in yard as he is known to run around and will wander off. Bigger dogs do make him a little nervous at first and he doesn't realize boundaries because he just wants to play. Overall he is a sweet guy looking for a fun and loving family. He is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Usually includes meeting the pet

Sign Adoption Contract

Complete process by signing contract and paying fee

Additional adoption info

Once you submit an application for a specific pet the foster home will review the application, follow up with any reference, and then reach out to set up a home check. At the home check you will meet the pet and we will conduct the interview. If things go as planned you can complete the adoption that day. For caged pets we require all the supplies be there and set up.

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
