My story

Vinny came to us after his owner surrendered him at a vet clinic due to the loss of his leg. They stated they could no longer care for him. He is a tri-pod.

In his foster home he has become his foster Mom's shadow. He loves to cuddle and have belly rubs!

He does ok with the other small dog in his foster home but doesn't care for the large dog. So would probably do best in a home with another small dog or as an only dog.

He is house broken and also does well on a leash. He needs lots of praise and treats to help build trust and new bonds with humans. No young children please.

He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
