Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Piper
Piper is a four-month-old puppy. She and her mate, Penny, are absolutely adorable. Piper is thought to be a lab/cur mix. She is on the small side, and we think could top out around 40 – 45 lbs. She is funny and silly, super sweet, gentle, fun, affectionate, athletic and enthusiastic. Piper loves people, is curious about other dogs and she loves her mate Penny. Piper is a happy puppy and she’s ready to find her forever home. She’ll need some consistent and gentle puppy training, but she is eager to learn. If you are looking to welcome a gorgeous puppy to your heart and home, consider Piper. She’ll definitely add joy to your world.
If interested in Piper, please submit an application online at: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application
Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don’t receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals.
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
