Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Millie
Millie is a gorgeous young pup. We rescued her from a high kill shelter and brought her to the safety of our shelter. Millie is an exceptional young dog. She is as gentle as a lamb, very quiet, loving, affectionate, sweet, friendly and she is house-trained and crate-trained!
Millie looks to be a terrier hound mix. She is gorgeous with a predominantly grey blue coat and warm brown eyes. She is a small/medium sized girl. She doesn’t seem to shed much either! Millie loves, loves, loves people, she’d do well with kids, dogs and seems to not be too interested in cats. A patient and careful introduction will be helpful. Millie goes to foster every weekend and her foster mama says she does extremely well. She is well-mannered and calm. Millie walks easily on a leash and loves to go for strolls. And she loves treats, taking them so gently. She will do well in a less active home where she can snuggle with her person. She will love a fenced yard where she can sun herself, a comfy pillow or place where she can relax and a home where she receives a lot of love. She gives back so much and is such a gem. We have fallen in love with Mille and know you will too. Millie is pawfect in every way.
If interested in Millie, please submit an application online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org.
Please email our shelter (smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net) or call our shelter at 706-865-4135 and leave a message to make sure we received your application. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals.
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
