My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mable here! I was rescued by a kind apartment "dweller!" She came out of her apartment one morning and saw me looking around the dumpster area. As she watched she could see that something was going on with my neck. After a closer look she discovered that I had an embedded collar. YIKES! She brought me to the shelter to get some help. The collar has been removed and I was given some antibiotics and pain meds to keep me comfortable while my neck healed. I am all "fine" now and ready to look for a new home. In case you might be interested in me I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. They think I might have some corgi somewhere in my family tree! I should stay a mid-size little gal even when I reach my adult size. I hope to see you soon.

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
