Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People! My name is Queen! I was rescued by a kind stranger from the parking lot of a gas station and convenience store here in town! YIKES! I was dodging cars and avoiding people as they went in and out of the store. Finally someone saw me and decided to help. She patiently sat and talked to me and was able to get me to come close to her. Then she scooped me up and brought me to the shelter. I was never claimed by my owners so now I am ready for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. Remember I am still a young puppy and I will take up lots of you time! So do you have time for a pup like me?

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
