My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty will be your buddy and your pal and a lifelong companion! This happy labrador mix may pull out the "shy" card when he first meets you but give him a sec and some space and he'll soon be begging for your attention! Rusty likes cats and dogs alike and prefers to enjoy his food and his toys all by himself, so a separate dining space might be the key to a harmonious household. Running and playing are on his list of "likes"; thunderstorms are on the "no-likey" list, but fortunately, Rusty is a crate-trained boy and finds that to be his comfort zone...for storms and for nitey-nite. Rusty has tested positive for heartworm disease, but our great staff will assure you that you can easily administer his treatment at home. Don't let that keep you from falling in love with this gorgeous boy! He couldn't be more ready to make his way into your home: housetrained, crate-trained and he'll even throw in a perfect "sit" to show you his smarts and convince you to take him home!
