Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Taz, a sweet but shy 3-year-old pittie with a heart full of love. His curious nature makes him an excellent companion for exploratory walks and new adventures. Though shy at first, he warms up quickly, revealing his cuddly side. He prefers to be the only dog in the household, cherishing all the attention for himself. Taz can be a bit nervous around strangers, but with patience and love, he learns to trust and becomes a loyal friend.
Taz is looking for a forever home that can provide him with the love, patience, and understanding he deserves. If you're looking for a companion who will provide you with unconditional love and loyalty, Taz might just be the perfect match for you.

More about this shelter
We ask that anyone in need of surrendering an animal call for an appointment. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a "special admission" shelter we accept all animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals. Thanks to a dedicated and caring staff and volunteers, and the monetary contributions of so many compassionate individuals and businesses in our community, we offer our animals the best of care as they await their new forever home.
