Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST / ** URGENT**
DAISY is a resident at the local animal shelter and **MUST EXIT 11/4 by 4PM** or WILL BE EUTHANIZED. She’s experiencing high FAS (fear/anxiety/stress) and the shelter does not have the resources to provide the enrichment that Daisy needs.
Introducing darling DAISY! She’s beautiful and as sweet as can be but frightened in the shelter environment. She’s bonded deeply with shelter volunteers who have invested the time and energy needed to gain her trust, however, is frightened of new people.
The video included in this post demonstrates how Daisy behaves around people she knows and trusts. Daisy knows her “sit” command, takes treats gently, walks well on leash and loves to play in the yard. She is silly, funny, and affectionate and loving. Daisy is dog-friendly and, in fact, her confidence improves with the company of another dog.
Daisy needs a kind and patient adopter who will let her set the pace and give her time to adjust. A well-adjusted, friendly dog in the home would be a plus. We know that with the right adopter and a bit of effort our lovely Daisy is sure to blossom!
