Hello, I'm Ben! I'm a young fella with a heart full of love to give. I'm sweet as can be, always ready to share a purr or a gentle nuzzle. I'm playful too, always up for a good chase of a toy mouse or a friendly wrestling match with a ball of yarn. But when playtime is over, there's nothing I love more than a good cuddle. I'll curl up next to you and we can share some quiet time together. Life is always better with a friend by your side, don't you think? So, why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and plenty of cuddles. I can't wait to meet my forever family, could it be you?

The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
