My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Torvi spent some time in a loving foster home! This is what her foster has to say about her:

"Torvi is very toy and play driven and loves to play with anyone who will play with her, including her brother and our beagle. She is good about stopping play if it gets too rough and will take a break and wait for everyone to reset. She is very smart and watches and learns very quickly and is a very curious pup. She picked up sit almost immediately and would sleep through the night in her crate if her brother didn't wake everyone up. I would say that she is already crate trained and I think she is fully potty trained, but hard to say for sure since she shares a crate with her brother and there is the occasional accident (pee only). She regulates well and is easy to get to lay down for naps, particularly if she has a toy to chew on and a favorite person or dog to cuddle on."

I am spayed or neutered, vaccinated as appropriate for my age, microchipped and heartworm tested. Come meet me! My adoption fee is $249.

The Roanoke Valley SPCA offers adoptions by appointments Tuesday - Saturday between Noon and 7pm. Appointments can be made by calling 540-339-9247. Walk-in's will be offered the next available appointment. Pets are adopted on a first come basis. The Roanoke Valley SPCA has embraced Fear Free Shelters philosophy and are committed to giving each pet in our care a fear free experience while looking for their forever homes. The Fear Free® philosophy is designed to reduce the negative emotional states that are commonly experienced by shelter animals, including fear, anxiety, stress, and frustration. We offer virtual walk thru of available pets on our website and at our shelter. The end result is a happier, healthier new member of your family.
Call 540-339-9247 between 12pm-6pm on Monday or 12pm-7pm on Tuesday-Saturday to speak with an adoption counselor for more information.
