My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the adorable trio of mischief-makers: Rizz, Skibidi, and Sigma! Rizz, with his unique nub tail and fluffy black coat, brings a touch of extra charm to every playful pounce. Skibidi, his sister, is a sleek, medium-haired black beauty with a little spark of sass, while Sigma, their soft grey sister, rounds out the crew with her sweet, curious nature. Though a bit shy at first, these 8-week-old cuties warm up quickly and soon fill the room with endless kitten antics and joyful playtime. And when they're ready to recharge, they settle down for the cutest, snuggliest kitten naps you'll ever see. This playful little bunch is sure to bring plenty of love, laughter, and cat-titude to their forever home!

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
