Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Prue and Paul are two 15-week-old kittens, a female Siamese lynx point and a male orange and white, who are sweet but very shy and nervous in the shelter environment. These gentle little ones are searching for their forever homes, whether together or separately, where they can feel safe and blossom at their own pace. They need cat-savvy adopters who are patient, understanding, and willing to help them build confidence in a calm, loving environment. Prue and Paul have so much love to give once they feel secure, and they'll thrive in a home where they can truly relax and reveal their tender, affectionate personalities.

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
