I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up Date LuLu has been adopted
I am sending a sincere plea for your help and support of a small donation.
I really don’t know why my former owner decided to throw me away. It’s hard to understand what I have done to be treated this way. I can only tell you how a good (actually great!) Samaritan found me in the middle of a busy intersection along with my puppies and stopped all the confusing traffic long enough to rescue us all.
So now my puppies are safe and have found good homes but I need help before I am ready to go to my forever home. You see, someone had been using me to make lots of puppies and not taking care of me. This is where I need your Help. I have a very serious infection which will require amputation of my bulldog stubby tail. This should not affect me in anyway, I will still be able to wiggle my butt. It’s a miracle I do not have heartworms too!
Once I am better I am fully prepared to make a wonderful companion to someone who loves me. I am now spayed so I won’t have to worry about taking care of any more puppies and my cherry eye is repaired. I’m only about 2 years old so I have lots of time to devote to you and/or a family with older children. I am housebroken, understand how to use a crate, walk nicely on a leash, and will follow you anywhere just to receive a pat and let you know how devoted I can be.
Of course, I know the EBRN wants to help me but few dogs come into their program needing as difficult a surgery as I require and your donation really means a lot to me. This surgery is going to cost about 500 to 600 dollars. It will take at least 2hrs or more. This is a very risky procudure, You are messing with a spine since bulldogs are born with out tails. LuLu needs this done she has a large abcess in her tail area.
Please contact the EBRN at Jluvabull@aol.com as soon as possible to tell them you will send a donation for my care and I will be sure to send a thank you note along with a report on my progress.
This is from the Good Samaritan:
I’m not sure if you can help me, I found this dog on a busy street with her 4 pups. Friends have taken three of the pups but I am scared to rehome her to just anyone…she has obviously been mistreated. The dogs smelled of urine really bad. She had an infection of her anal glands and she has cherry eye…not to mention she is so skinny, you can count her ribs. And she was evidently used as a puppy mill.
I have been spoon feeding her because she has a severe underbite and seems to push food around more than she is eating it. I have really gotten attached to her in the last two weeks. She has an amazingly sweet disposition and is just so happy to get even a pat on the head. She has been putting on weight and showing more energy and alertness and I would keep her if I could, HOWEVER, I have a pitbull that is very DA plus 2 other dogs so I have been having to do the whole crate and rotate and I’m away from home 11 hours a day so its just not fair to her.
