Hi! My name is Lamar! I am a handsome 5 year old large fawn boy that is ready to find my forever home! I am blind in my left eye, but I do not require additional maintenance for it besides monitoring or occasional eye drops if needed. I love to play keep away with my ball (and will let you know if it goes under the couch), cuddling, and being with the humans! I am a gentle giant that doesn't always realize my size and I tend to think I am a lap dog. I am house trained, crate trained, doggy door trained, well mannered that sits for my food and treats, and leash trained! When my foster mom leaves the home, I hang out in my crate and when she is home, I lay right by her and occasionally bring her the ball when I feel she needs a break. I am a great watch dog of the home and will alert the humans if someone comes to the door. There are two boxers in my foster home and I want to curl up with and on them. I show no resource guarding with the resident dogs and I'm learning what to do when they coax me to play. I have not had any exposure to kids so a meet and greet would be needed. My foster mom says I am a "loving, sweet, well mannered cuddler" and I agree! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
