My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Poodle, Dachshund mix
Female, 12 years old (estimated), 8 pounds

Buffy carries a heart full of love and a spirit as brave as a slayer. Her sweetness is as endearing as her friendliness is inviting. Buffy's mellow temperament makes her a joy to be around, and her gentle nature is a comfort to all who know her. Despite some vision loss, Buffy is brave and courageous, embodying the spirit of her namesake, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's also incredibly cuddly, making her the perfect companion for those cozy nights in. In fact, we affectionately refer to her as Buffy the nap slayer! With Buffy, you're not just adopting a pet, you're welcoming a loyal friend who will offer unconditional love and companionship. Adopt Buffy and let her bring a touch of sweetness and bravery into your life.

This sweet lady gets along well with other dogs and adores her humans. She is losing some of her vision so she can be startled when people come to pet her or pick her up. A gentle pat on her body or head is all she asks for to ensure she knows you're there.

Buffy joins us from the Bradshaw Sacramento County Animal Shelter after it was found that she would benefit from joining a senior rescue to best meet her needs.
