My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy Girl is very sweet and mellow tempered pup. She can be a bit shy around strangers at first but warms up quickly. She is extremely patient with our toddlerswho test her patience daily with eye poking, tail pulling and horse riding. She is friendly with all people/kids she encounters, whether at our home, on a walk or at the park. She does well walking on leash, until she encounters another dog. Her only exposure is limited to her brother and because of this, she's still learning how to approach and interact with other dogs. With proper training this can be addressed. Daisy Girl is the perfect for a family with young kids and will be a loyal protector for your family! Interested in adopting this pet? Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
