Meet Maple! Maple is a sweet German Shepherd mix around 6 years old, who loves to cuddle and be around her people. She knows basic commands like sit, lay and shake. She’s very treat motivated and loves doing tricks for treats. Maple gets along well with other dogs too! She’s housebroken and tells her foster parents when she needs to go out. She loves looking out the window at cars going by on the street. She’s a little shy meeting new people but warms up over time and once she knows you she loves you! She loves going for a walk to smell all the new smells. She would be a great addition to any family!

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
