Animal Profile: Taylor showed up on someone’s property way out in Wapato with 9 puppies. The finder' was not interested in feeding or keeping her or her puppies, and was threatening to let them starve. A rescue contact reached out for help as Mama and babies were left outside, exposed to the elements. We could not leave them to suffer, so they are all hitching a ride to the west side on Friday, 10/11.
Foster Update: Taylor is smart, engaging and affectionate with her people. She has great manners in the home; she does not counter surf, respects boundaries in the kitchen, and is conscious of the space around the toddler in her foster home. Taylor can share space with other dogs, but doesn’t really enjoy their company. She would prefer to be an only dog. Taylor is house trained and does well in a solid sided kennel. She can be talkative when left alone, so we are not considering apartment homes for her at this time. Taylor is looking to join a family with a single family home, fenced yard, and large breed experience. She has very high prey drive and will not be placed in a home with cats or small animals.
Adoption Info: Taylor's adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: Taylor and her 9 puppies are being surrendered to Dog Gone Seattle from their owner in Eastern Wa. They arrive to foster care 10/11/24 and will be available for adoption once we confirm they are healthy and well.
