My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Alysha, or Lili to her friends, is the beautiful and intrepid climber of our Olympic champion litter. It's a good thing she doesn't have a pole at her disposal, as she'd be waiting for record heights with the springs in her paws! In the sunlight, you can see that underneath this little black panther is a tiger coat. A sweetheart, Alysha is a little ball of love who craves kisses and loves to settle down on her haunches for a nap while you work. She is the sister of Maude, Ilona, Summer, Simone and Rebeca. These beautiful, big, strong little girls were separated from their mom Margot as soon as they were born, as Margot had to be rushed to the veterinary hospital with a uterine infection. After a week's convalescence, they found themselves in the middle of the opening ceremony of the Olympics, so it was only natural that her cocottes should be named after Olympians. As Margot wasn't producing enough milk, the girls were lucky enough to have the best of both worlds: their mother to reassure them, wash them and feed them a little, and humans to complete the picture by bottle-feeding them. A perfect combo to create true champions, in love with humans, but perfectly weaned. They are the 6 who give kisses at will and love naps and snuggles with the humans and cats in the household. Alysha is a kitten therefore the adoption fees for her are $340. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is not tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) or feline leukemia (FeLV) but her mother Margot is negative for both viruses. You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.

Go meet their pets

We hold weekly adoption clinics at pet supply stores throughout the Montreal area, and the South Shore to find permanent homes for our cats and dogs.
